Miniature New Orleans Tiny Tomb DIY Kit

$27.99Price
Quantity

⚰️ A little cardboard. A little moss. A century or two of decay.

Lady Delaney’s Tiny Tombs have haunted New Orleans for years and have been featured by Atlas Obscura and CNN. Now you can build one of your own.

Inspired by the crumbling beauty of New Orleans’s legendary Cities of the Dead, this delightfully macabre kit gives you the specialty materials and instructions to transform humble recycled cardboard into a wonderfully timeworn miniature mausoleum. Populate your cemetery with a mourner, ravens, an owl, cat, bats, and other curious inhabitants.

🧰 INSIDE YOUR KIT

Each kit contains the specialty materials for creating one Tiny Tomb:

– One sheet of full-color original Lady Delaney Tiny Tomb graphics
– Assorted miniature greenery and moss
– Step-by-step instructions

Finished examples pictured were made using the same kit. Greenery may vary slightly depending upon availability, and your particular combination of construction, weathering, overgrowth, and embellishment will give your little ruin a history all its own.

Part of the Tiny Tomb magic is making something extraordinary from decidedly ordinary materials. The tomb structure itself is constructed from recycled cardboard you supply at home.

🛠 YOU'LL NEED:

– Heavy cardboard, such as a shipping box
– Lightweight cardboard, such as a cereal box
– Scissors
– Hot glue

– Elmers glue stick

– Masking tape
– Toothpicks

🖤 DIFFICULTY

Beginner friendly. No miniature-making experience is required, while seasoned miniaturists will find plenty of opportunities to elaborate.
