TAPTSKC Presents: Shadow Puppetry

For the spooky month of October, members of The Absolutely Positively Top Secret Kids Club will explore the ancient art of shadow puppetry.  This class will primarily deal in paper crafting as we create shadow theaters and puppets, implementing a variety of materials such as cardboard, vellum, and construction paper.  Students will leave with a cast of mysterious characters for Halloween tales best told in the dark. 

Each month, the Absolutely Positively Top Secret Kids Club convenes to unlock secrets of adventure, art, and storytelling.  Members of the club may want to arrive dressed in the disguises of their Club alter egos.  Wigs, eyepatches, silly hats, fancy lady dresses, and clown shoes are just a few of the successful disguises employed by past members.  New members will receive an Absolutely Positively Top Secret Kids Club patch, by which they will recognize other members of this elite New Orleans operative.
