Unlock your miniature crafting potential in this hands-on 3-hour workshop, where you’ll dive into Lady Delaney's favorite materials for creating tiny, intricate artifacts. We’ll provide a treasure trove of tools and materials for you to experiment with, so you can let your creativity run wild. No prior experience is required—just bring your imagination!
The History:
During the Renaissance, wealthy collectors curated "cabinets of curiosities," private collections of fascinating and eclectic artifacts. This tradition gave rise to both dollhouses and modern museums. Inspired by these historical practices, we will use miniature objects to tell our own stories. Each participant will receive a 1-inch scale curio cabinet, which we will fill over the course of three hours with handcrafted and distressed “curiosities.”
