The Punch and Judy show has roots in the 16th-century Italian commedia dell'arte, with Mr. Punch making his first appearance in 1662.  By the 18th century, Punch was extremely popular in France and had spread to the British American colonies, counting George Washington as a spectator.

Now you can stage your own slapstick puppet show with this complete Punch and Judy Theatre Set!  Assemble the sturdy cardboard stage for the 7 actors to move across.  The theater and actors also come with a traditional comedy script.  Imagine you own stories for Mr Punch, Joey, Crocodile, Judy and the Dancer.
